For the 20th time in a solemn ceremony in Sofia Hotel Balkan were presented the annual awards of BCCI for achievements in the categories: leading Bulgarian companies in the „Top 100“ business ranking; regional chamber; branch organization; ambassador; foreign trade representative; media; journalist.
PLAQUETTE and CERTIFICATE for first place in the category „50 companies ranked by the change of financial result in 2012 and 2011“ received the BLAGOEVGRAD - BT AD, the town of Blagoevgrad.
The ceremony was also attended by Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski, who during the presentation of awards said that such examples of successful business must be stimulated.
„I hope with joint effort to increase the number of nominees for awards, so that Bulgaria could develop as a success full place for doing business“, the prime minister said.
Starting the „TOP 100“ ranking in 1998, the Chamber each year collects and processes financial data on the companies. BCCI rankings cover companies from all sectors of the economy, and with each year their representativeness at national level increases. The share of companies, involved in the rankings, forms 70 percent of the country‘s GDP in the last years. The rankings are made on the basis of internationally recognised criteria. Taking
into account the high level of endebtedness in Bulgarian economy, for the first time this year BCCI made a ranking of companies that have managed not only to reduce their endebtedness, but to also achieve profit and growth in sales revenues.
